Romanian peasants est un travail qui se concentre sur les campagnes en Roumanie. Une région très pauvre où les habitants vivent comme dans un ancien temps, sans les nouvelles technologies du XXIème siècle. J'ai parcouru une partie des villages se trouvant autour de Bucharest. On retrouve principalement une population âgée qui est restée dans les habitations de son enfance. A travers ces différents voyages, j'ai pu vivre un retour aux sources et un dépaysement important. J'ai réalisé ce projet avec Thibaut Hardy, un peintre belge. Ce projet mélange photographie et peinture. 




Romanian Peasants is a work that focuses on the countryside in Romania. A very poor region where residents live as in ancient times, without the new technologies of the 20th century. I traveled through some of the villages around Bucharest. We mainly find an elderly population who have remained in their homes where they spent their childhood. Through these different trips, I was able to experience a return to the source and a significant change of scenery. I carried out this project with Thibaut Hardy, a Belgian painter. This project mixes photography and painting.
